Katja holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an Honours Degree in International Relations from the University of Westminster. Before joining Mission Talent Recruitment, Katja has worked for various NGOs in Southern Africa. Katja is fluent in English & German, and speaks some modest French and is learning Portuguese. Specialties: government, inter-governmental organizations, regional development bodies, international NGOs, security and peacebuilding, HIV/AIDS, health, Pan-African Institutions, natural resources, finance. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University and a B.A. in International Development from the University of Redlands. She has worked for many international organizations, leading advocacy efforts related to gender, youth participation, HIV and AIDS and the Millennium Development Goals. She honed her skills in advocacy and capacity building while working for the UN office of the Lutheran World Federation, where she organized youth conferences focusing on peace and entrepreneurship in Rwanda, Kenya and the Gambia. She is also a blogger and freelance writer, covering topics like gender, social entrepreneurship and communication for development. Emily is a native English speaker, speaks some Spanish and is learning German. She is based in Bonn, Germany.
