Governance and international security

Our Governance and International Security practice seeks to build the policy frameworks, institutions building, and citizen participation that bring legitimacy and transparency into government through the recruitment of talented and ethical leaders.

Governance suggests the administrative and process-oriented elements of governing and in the developmental context often includes peacebuilding, volunteerism, civil society development, and community governance. Candidates have worked for inter- and multi-lateral organisations including such as the UN, development banks, embassies/diplomatic staff, USAID, and the IRC. Candidates are global in origin and have worked in all regions including the Middle East, the Pacific, Southern Africa and S.E. Asia.

The past decade has witnessed a remarkable expansion and globalisation of the security sector. These developments mark the emergence of security networks that play increasingly important roles in global governance. Experts in areas as diverse as elections security, counter intelligence, disarmament, and fraud assessment - are all part of our security capacity.
