Mission Talent - Research & Support Consultant

As a research and support consultant, you will be part of the search team, developing research strategies and supporting consultants in executive search. This includes mapping of organisations and sectors, as well as documenting outreach and communication. You are persistent, thorough and enjoy analysing the international development and nonprofit landscape. At the same time, you are organised and understand how to maintain order across databases and other digital systems, keeping us compliant with GDPR at every step.

We offer retained search services to NGOs and foundations as well as humanitarian, conservation and international development organisations. Purpose of the Role 

As a research and support consultant, you will be part of the search team catering to Mission Talent clients, working in both English and German. Your research will support consultants in research strategies for specific executive search clients. You will develop research strategies and support consultants in executive search. This includes mapping of organisations and sectors, as well as documenting outreach and communication. You enjoy learning about people and analysing the international development and nonprofit landscape. You are also organised and understand how to order across databases and other digital systems, keeping us compliant with GDPR at every step.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing candidate search and outreach strategies.
  • Support the Mission Talent team in Germany with other ongoing work (as required).

Profile

You will bring to this role: 

  • Excellent German and English communication skills (written & spoken)
  • Proven intercultural skills
  • Highly organised, structured and motivated
  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual set-up with colleagues and stakeholders around the world
  • Ease with technology, databases, and online teamwork platforms
  • An interest in research and recruitment processes.
