Executive Director

About Medic Afya

Medic Afya is a newly established, Nairobi-headquartered organisation with operations in Kenya and growing engagement across Africa. While informed by Medic Mobile’s 15+ year open-source legacy, it operates as an independent institution with its own strategic direction and governance.

The organisation works in close partnership with governments and ecosystem actors to strengthen national community health systems and close the digital divide in primary healthcare. By supporting locally owned digital platforms, Medic Afya empowers community health workers and advances equitable access to care, ensuring that frontline providers and the communities they serve have access to reliable, dignified, and user-centred digital tools.

About the Role

The Executive Director will shape Medic Afya’s vision, strategy, partnerships, and operations during a critical formative phase.
