World YWCA RiseUp! Young Women’s Leadership and Advocacy Initiative

Pacific Coordinator

About World YWCA

Founded in 1855, the World YWCA is the world’s oldest women’s movement, with member associations in 109 countries. Its ambitious goal is to reach 100 million young women and girls by 2035, transforming power structures perpetuating gender inequality. At its core, the organisation is led by and for young women—50% of the World Board are under 30. The movement mobilises millions of young women, equipping them with opportunities to lead, shape policy, and challenge social norms so their voices influence decisions at every level.
