About the Role
As (Senior) Project Manager: Global Health, you will lead project teams as a trusted advisor to senior clients within leading organisations in the Global Health space – including major UN organisations, product-development partnerships, multilateral financing institutions, foundations, NGOs and private sector organisations. You will guide them in formulating innovative strategic plans to optimise their impact and build organisations that serve as powerful agents of change. You will also be part of the SEEK extended leadership team, working on developing the Global Health Practice and supporting the professional growth of its members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client and business leadership:
- Cultivate close relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor who understands their evolving needs and helping them develop evidence-based strategies.
- Facilitate client meetings and workshops while also engaging diverse stakeholders to develop impactful and actionable outcomes tailored to client needs.
- Leverage your own network and expertise to identify opportunities to serve existing and new clients and lead the creation of winning proposals to grow SEEK’s Global Health work portfolio further.
- As a member of SEEK’s extended leadership team, take ownership of building the firm beyond client work, identifying critical enablers for SEEK’s brand.
Project and people leadership:
- Take responsibility for delivering high-quality and high-impact work on client engagements, leveraging your expertise to ensure clients get the best solutions.
- Provide leadership to the SEEK project teams working for Global Health clients, guiding them on methodologies, problem-solving, and pushing beyond for innovative solutions.
- Ensure staffing provides maximum client impact while offering development opportunities for colleagues.
- Grow SEEK’s talent through mentoring, coaching, and effective feedback.
- Positively shape SEEK’s culture by cultivating belonging and role-modelling their values.
- Build a strong sense of community with a commitment to developing yourself and others.
Practice and thought leadership:
- Co-lead SEEK’s Global Health practice, representing and acting as the go-to person internally and externally.
- Build SEEK’s reputation through expertise that is recognised in their relevant markets.
- Contribute to developing new products, approaches, and tools to strengthen SEEK’s offering in the global health field.
Skills and Experience
- Advanced degree in business/public administration, economics, global public health or related field.
- Experience as a project manager leading client projects in a strategy consulting firm or comparable organisation is required.
- Proven leadership experience in global health for an international organisation.
- Track record in engaging in business development strategies.
- Expertise and active network in global health, including knowledge of architecture and major players, current topics and key debates, as well as contacts in major organisations.
- Committed to impact and able to lead a team in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex (client) projects and interacting with diverse stakeholders, including leading senior client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and present information in an insightful manner.
- Experience in strategy and organisational development and strategic advocacy in and advantage.
- Fluent in English. German or French is considered an additional advantage.
